Sometimes it can get messy to the point where its best to just reset the window layout.Reset VS Windows to Default Select the Window menu and choose Reset Windows Layout.Reset VS Windows to Presets If you have saved a window layout and wish to revert back to that layout, select the Window menu, choose Apply Window Layout, then select the layout you wish to revert to.

How To Reset Window Layout In Visual Studio How To Save AndToday in this post, we are going to discuss on this and will learn how to save and sync the Window Layout. This happens with many developers who work in the same IDE but in different system (in office and at home). While working across multiple devices, it is require to save the layout of the current window and load the same in different system to easy access. As you are already logged-in to the IDE, it is easy to sync the settings. To save your current windows layout, go to Window menu Save Window Layout. If you have multiple layouts saved, you can switch between different layouts. To do this, go to Window menu Apply Window Layout and select the layout name that you want to apply. In case you want to renamedelete an existing saved layout, go to Window menu Manage Window Layouts. Select the saved layout and click Rename or Delete based on your need.
